  1. Hey, Slash

Did you get the Bystander book yet? It’s a big, heavy book, so I may have gone overboard on the packaging. Better too much than too little, I guess. Just wanted to warn you.

Love many of your shots. There is a lot of potential with the upward-angle idea.

No, I don’t heve any photos to share – I’m just good enough to appreciate those that are true artists. Take a look at this guy’s work. Very humbling!

Notice the staircase at about the 3.15 mark. I love ordinary inanimate objects used as art. Here is one of my favorite photography books:

Please email to the above address if you wish. It’s awkward going through ebay.

    1. Thanks Doug! I just loved the video about Bill Brandt. His work is just incredible… astounding really. Those people living in the subways… I want prints of those.

I did receive the book. Thank you! It’s in great condition and I am really excited about it. I want to read it from cover to cover. Meyerowitz is an incredibly photographer. But the interesting thing is that he is also particularly good at verbal communication… he is so engaging in his talks. Also, your email is not attached (otherwise I would have emailed you.)

  2. Hello,
I was wondering if you had some knowledge about the internal mechanics of the Fujifilm GW690ii? If you do, If like to know if you think the security shutter mechanism in the gw690 can be disabled without damaging the camera? I would like to hear your opinions on this because it would make it a lot easier for me to run 35 mm film through the camera if the security shutter function can be disabled.

    1. Hi Ameer. I don’t know what you mean when you say the “Security Shutter Mechanism”. Is this the mechanism that makes sure that the door is closed before it fires? Is this what you are asking about? There must be a way to trick the camera into thinking the door is shut but I don’t know how to do it. Just shoot 120 film 🙂

  3. Hey man! What happened to that awesome 6×12 camera project of yours? 🙂 let’s connect ! what’s your insta ? i’m @yfigments

  4. Hey man!
I just discovered your thread over at rangefinderforum about the mamiya 6×12 an 4×5 adapter. And it got me FIRED UP!! I really want to make those!
Is there a place i could buy them? (I have a 3d printer myself) Could i get the files for them? 🙂

    Hope to hear from you!
Best regards Benjamin Fjerdingstad from Norway

  5. Hi Still Thrill !

Love your work and DIY enginuity !!
Being a huge Mamiya Universal Press enthusiast and 4×5 hobbyist, I found out (via rangefinderforum) that you actually made a 3D printed back to use 4×5 sheet film on Universal Press body !! That’s some insane design wizardry here and I’d really love to know a little bit more about this absolute beast of a combo if you wouldn’t mind…

Thanks for your time and dedication,

    greetings from France !
